Lewis Irwin, Harry Kennedy Holmes and Oliver Jobe have finished their apprenticeship at Lattimer!
They have been through the most tumultuous 4-year apprenticeship one can imagine with the Covid pandemic playing its part for a good two years. Lewis, Harry and Oliver (on the picture from left to right with Donna Morgan, our Quality and Apprentice Training Manager) have missed many opportunities available to others in previous years, by being furloughed from work, having to endure remote access learning for all associated college academic studies, overcome and endure strict social distancing protocols whilst working and training onsite at Lattimer, along with further college Covid related issues and disruptions following the return of teacher training focused lessons provided on the college campus.
All of them have succeeded and come through these challenges and are now passing out as fully fledged time served apprentices, destined to take up their respective roles and challenges of skilled setter operatives within Lattimer.
We wish them all good luck for the future as they embark on a new chapter in their career.
Well done and a massive congratulations from all of us!
