Our Sales Team Leader, Simon Waterhouse is running the 2023 London Marathon.
Last year, Simon was part of a team which raised over £44k for The Christie Charity. Following this achievement, The Christie then invited Simon and Andy to take part in the London Marathon.
Simon’s friend Brad was diagnosed with osteosarcoma – a type of bone cancer. Doctors warned that Brad’s leg may have to be removed, however, as a result of the treatment received at the Christie hospital in Manchester, the tumour size was significantly reduced and was removed with an operation.
To express the gratitude for the work undertaken by Christie’s for Brad and many others in the same situation, Simon and Andy are fundraising for The Christie Charity.
