Recent developments to the Lattimer QC Blowhead Arm have increased its strength utilising an I beam design and lowered its weight by reducing its section generating extra machine clearance. The lightweight blowhead body is manufactured from high quality aluminium billet with a steel QC adaptor providing secure clamping and eliminating the issue of casting failure. Modifications to the design of the arm have resulted in a significant weight reduction and a substantial increase in strength, even with the reduced cross section.
